For this role, you should have solid organizational and people skills to make sure our client&#8217;s guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive till their departure. You should also be available to work in shifts.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, you\u2019ll ensure our client provides excellent customer service and a pleasant dining experience to our client&#8217;s guests.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Welcome guests to the venue<\/li>\n<li>Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists<\/li>\n<li>Manage reservations<\/li>\n<li>Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas<\/li>\n<li>Provide menus and announce Waiter\/Waitress\u2019s name<\/li>\n<li>Greet customers upon their departure<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a clean reception area<\/li>\n<li>Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)<\/li>\n<li>Answer incoming calls and address customers\u2019 queries<\/li>\n<li>Assist wait staff as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Qualifications, Skills and Requirements<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous work experience as a Host\/Hostess or\u00a0Waiter\/Waitress<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of restaurant etiquette<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with health and safety regulations<\/li>\n<li>Experience in managing reservations<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable customer-service skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area<\/li>\n<li>Availability to work in shifts as needed<\/li>\n<li>Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift<\/li>\n<li>GCE, OND, hospitality certification is a plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":9,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"VI, Lagos, Nigeria","_application":"emeka.emuwa@tieconsultingltd.com","_company_name":"","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"80000","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-types":[],"class_list":["post-2952","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-expired","hentry","wpbf-post"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/tieconsultingltd.com\/job\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings\/2952","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/tieconsultingltd.com\/job\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/tieconsultingltd.com\/job\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/job_listing"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/tieconsultingltd.com\/job\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/9"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/tieconsultingltd.com\/job\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=2952"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"job_listing_type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/tieconsultingltd.com\/job\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-types?post=2952"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
